Great seafood, good service and value for the money. We found this lovely restaurant accidentally, because there was some missunderstandings with our reservation in the restaurant before. So finally we had anniversary dinner at Il Brigantinos. After a warm welcome from the waiter with a glass of sparkling wine, he explained us the menu. Started with the mixed seafood plate, which contains shrimps in cocktail glass, octopus salad (very soft, not like chewing on rubber), stewed fish, raw fish with pesto, pickled raw fish with salad and onion and at last a big mussels bowl in spicy tomato sauce. After finishing the great starters we were almost replete. For the main course we had risotto with seafood and pasta linugine with prawns, both nicely cooked. Besides we had 0,75 liters house wine, a liter still water and espresso for in total for about 67 Euros (somehow we get a discount and payed just 60). Definitely one of the best value you'll get for your money in Cagliari for the quality.

Hidden gem in Cagliari. An amazing seafood restaurant in Via Azuni - I loved the anglerfish and bacon dish, followed by the salmon and squid ink ravioli. I would recommend these dishes! My partner had the oysters, tuna tartare and a mix of fried seafood for starters. To finish off he had an incredible crab and tomato pasta. Very reasonable pricing for the quality of the food. Great atmosphere, with the waiters checking in and recommending dishes based on flavours we like. If we come back to Cagliari for a holiday, we'll definitely return to this restaurant.

We enjoyed our evening at il Brigantino very much! It’s a little bit away from the tourist streets and had a lovely ambience :) The waiter gave great wine and fish recommendations. The food was all fresh and delicious…our only complaint would be the linguine was a little too salted. Our fresh fish was €20 a piece and the primi piatti €16 each. Overall a lovely restaurant!

We had one of the best meals here during our 2 week stay. In fact we went back a number of times. The best nero di seppia and fregola we ever had.

It is very much what you expect. High quality food for high price. Fantastic fregola, the grill squids could be much better. The fried dish, well I have had better experience.
